New iPod Shuffle Released

Apple redesigned their infamous iPod shuffle to now worlds smallest MP3 player. Holy shit, this one is really cute! The size is just slightly bigger than a thumb, aluminum body with a clip, reasonable prices of only $79 and come in 1 GB of storage. Only that operating system requirement; it need Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4 or later or Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 2 or later. Why not XP Service Pack 1? I'm just confused! Apart from that, I like it. I've long been looking for a player that should be cool, light and not that expensive. I will sure buy this shuffle if only I ain't broke:)

Google has launched the news archive search service recently. This is to search the old news articles from multiple sources on world wide web. How old? As old as 200 years of news, it's amazing, and very useful tool indeed.

"The goal here is to be able to explore history as it unfolded," said Anurag Acharya, an engineer at Google and one of the team behind the project.

"It's fascinating to see how people's attitudes and emotions have changed through time."

I have searched the news about U Aung san in 1947 timelines and got to the article "End of Bogyoke" on Time.com on which it's described how Bogyoke was assassinated in details at that times.

Chelsea say they sold William Gallas because he threatened to score an own goal if he was selected for their first game of the season.

Despite that Gallas denies, "I am surprised and shocked by these claims. I never said that I would score own goals if I had to play for Chelsea again".

Today Blogger Buzz update one more feature on Blogger beta that we can now edit HTML code in template, probably that's a second breaking news since their announcement on Blogger in beta. But be cautious before you open the template. You should learn first what is new in it.

One quick warning before you all dive in, though: The new template language is completely different from the old one. So even if you're used to working with classic templates, you'll need to learn some new tricks to directly edit the new templates for Layouts-enabled blogs.

foobar2000 - the best freeware audio player

In quest of music player that can play all sort of audio files for my PC and it have to be light weight that consume less memory, so far Foobar2000 is the best I can find.

I have already installed a couple of bulky software. My roommate bought iPod and I have to keep iTunes for him to synchronize with his Nanno. Window media player automatically came with window XP installation. Real media and quick time are also installed, as my browser beg for me to download so that it can play media files associated with such players. Since I don't want to mess up with my friend's iTunes music library, I need another good player for my own use and Winamp have long been my favorite for that purpose. Now I switch to Foobar2000.

What's so special?

foobar2000 is an absolutely freeware audio player for Windows. You do not need to ( or have to ) upgrade to pro because there is only one available that is free version! foobar200 do not have fancy skins like Winamp, but hey.. it's still cool for me. I prefer much simpler and more powerful playlist. It produce high-quality audio output. I don't need AOL or SHOUTcast, Pandora is the best for me as far as on line radio are concerned.

One feature that lack in foobar2000 is that it doesn't support playing video file. Why bother? I don't need a bloated software just to play the songs I like. And I seldom watch a movie. After all those are the fact that make foobar2000 incredibly light.

Seems like South East Asia sleeping giant is coming back again, though it's still early to judge. Last night in Merdeka cup final, Myanmar defeat 2-1 over Indonesia. Under the coach U San Win, Myanmar is placed as the lowest team in the four nation tournament. But FIFA rankings has nothing to do with the actual outcome. Kyaw Thu Ya took the lead on 61st minutes. Then the header from the capatain Soe Myat Min on 85th minutes was enough to add the 2006 Merdeka Cup to their name as a four times champion. The last time they won the title was in 1971 as Burma. Congratulation!

My recommendation is to download all texts and tapes to your machine first, then study them later at your free time. Because all contents are cramed into one page which make loading really slow, not wise to go over and over again to download unit after unit.

Oddly enough, some dudes, come up with the strange idea, have recently launched the web site iPodNames on which people who own iPod can register for $ 1 per year to name their things.

In return, you will be able to:

Show the world your iPod's Name
Contact other iPod users (if they have set that option)
Obtain exclusive "iPodNames.com" rights to that name in the directory
Show the world what you have on your iPod.

Is this one another web2.0 social site? I don't get a slightly thought on what they will be up to, as the site is in very beta. However they are somewhat entrepreneurial and they choose the right brand, iPod.

Firefox Extension I like, I install

I once posted some useful Firefox extension which I liked so that I installed in my browser. Since then more and more good extensions I came across are being added. The list are out of date now. And I've noticed I don't really like some that I mentioned back then. They are Googlepedia , Fasterfox and Performancing . In fact that three extensions are quite good and most of the folks find them useful. Fasterfox is still top of the three the most download extension. As for me I no longer need them. As my Firefox browser is quite fast already. I seldom find the same search in both Google and Wikipedia. I prefer Writely and Wridea over Performancing for blogging purpose.

I think It's time to update them. It's also a good idea to have them collected together on line so that I don't need to worry the lost of extension due to the browser accidentally uninstalled. Now I have a back up of them in my blog! If you haven't installed Firefox yet, and you want to download it, please click the button "Get Firefox with Google Toolbar for better browsing" on the side bar lower right corner. Trust me it's really far more better than Internet Explorer. And downloading it this way helps support this blog. Thank you.

Google Account Banned in Myanmar

Bloggers from Myanmar are unhappy about the recent ban on Google account by country rulers. Since Google integration of its account to Blogger beta, access to Blogger signon box has been denied as shown in photo. It looks funny, it might be. But imagine when we are excited about Google announcement on new service that have been added, some people from my country are completely devastated. It's sad but true.

Frustrated but not surprised, I'm used to suffer this experience pretty much before. If I'm not wrong, Yahoo! account have long been banned since the Internet access is available in Myanmar about six years ago. No warning, without a reason, no official announcement, this kinda things always happen. We just noted that some stupid political mind might involve behind the forbiddance.

We have seen a couple of mp3 players come and go, naming themselves iPod rival or iPod killer. Still Apple's iPod series are the king, holding majority of the market share. Here comes a new one, Sansa e280 from SanDisk. Can this little thing make a significant impact on the giant brand? It obviously has some potential like the same price as iPod Nanno has but more storage offer that is eight gigabytes of flash memory, and the features like memory expansion slot, FM radio tuner and voice recording are somethings iPod Nanno lack of. Moreover Sansa e280 has reportedly a longer battery life than iPod. Well, I'm watching!

New comment feed per post is good especially for the visitors come to the site, by subscribing it they are notified when someone reply to their comments. That's a big blow for the service like coComment! To subscribe, you've got to go individual post entry, at the end of the page you'll see the link as Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

But I'm expecting overall comment feed, like Haloscan do, so that I know instantly even comments are from old post from archive which are not so obvious to be noticed. Alternatively Blogger sent e-mail notification. But you have to enable it, to do this go to Dashboard >> Settings >> Comments, and scroll down the page till you see the Comment Notification Address box at the bottom, then type in your address and save the settings. You've done!

Tips [ update ] : Use Gmail with Gtalk or Gmail Notifier so that as soon as someone comment on your blog, you'll get noticed, even more faster.

Switching to Blogger beta

Well, I've switched to a new layout. Needless to say, I'm in love with the excellent new features Labels. Combination of blog archive and previous post entry under single click pull down menu style is fantastic. Now my sidebar is simpler than before, neat and clean. It's easy to customize the link list which means you don't need to change the template anymore, like in old Blogger just to add a friend's blog. Using third party tool like Google Reader to add your favorite posts or reading lists is simply unnecessary with this easy to edit layout. Publishing the new post is extremely fast now because the process of republishing the entire blog have been left out.

But still I don't see the feed icons in the Firefox browser address bar so as to add feed as live bookmark. I've also noticed that it seems my old Blogger Atom and Rss feed is gone with the old template. The feed url for beta version is completely different, you know. Do I need to burn a new Feedburner feed as well? And I also am still finding a way how to implement the Google Adsense and some other codes, since Blogger beta hasn't allowed to edit raw HTML in a template yet.

Apart from that I'm enjoying with my blog in a new look, hooray!

When you log in to the Blogger to post, you may notice the sentence, just above the Username and Password bar, stating "Sign in with your Blogger or Google Account". So I've tried with my Google account. I've been given a choice whether to create a blog or to switch from an old account. Because I've already a Blogger user, I've tried to switch. But make sure you read three things before you switch it, which are stated clearly by Blogger.

You’ll need a Google Account
After you sign in with your Blogger account, you can create a Google Account or link to your existing one.
We’re still adding features
Some features aren’t part of the beta yet, but will be in an upcoming release. See what’s missing
You can’t “undo”
Your blogs and profile will stay the same — but you can’t go back to the old Blogger application.

However for me, I could not move to a new blogger. It said;

Blogger in beta? Google is moving another closer step to take a full control over Blogger blogspot.com. In the near future, you might need to register with Google account to use a Blogger service. Techcrunch think that's a cheap move of Google, saying;

One thing that’s clear so far is that Google appears to intend that only readers with Google Accounts logins will be allowed to accept permission to read private blogs.

Whatever it is, I love Google for giving us a lot of fantastic free stuffs, Blogger is just one of the good example of them. What's more you can expect, now they are launching this new version, giving us ways to do more with Blogger. So what is new in it?

Private blogs
Create a blog visible to just your friends and family, not the whole world.

They are the most obvious one, of course there are many more take the tour or read a post about what's new in Blogger for more information.

With Labels, Blogger's new feature, we no longer need to go around delicious or any hacks to appear category in blog, though I have a vision of myself, painfully going through the process of adding labels and republishing all of my 60 over old posts, which is what might happen to me after having a switch!

Playing with a Blogger Template.

Well, I 've happened upon some good Blogger hacks to tweak your template a bit. Some of them might be old and well known for some of you, but they still are worth to repeat here. All the tricks I'll mention are already tested by myself and I found no problems using it. However, your browser must be Java Script enable to see them working. So if you've installed Firefox extension "NoScript", disable it first. Ok, here we go!

The first one called Peek-a-boo comments from Blogger Help are explained here. This hack is particularly suitable for those who earn just a few comments on their posts, say maximum 3, 4 hits on every 5 posts, like me! Because double clicking the comment link make them appear just below that post which is on main page, without having to go to the post page. So it's not a good idea to use this script for those probloggers who usually get around 25 comments on popular post!

Now you can edit your comments on Blogger's commenting system. Though it's not an official announcement from Blogger. Fast and easy way to do this is visiting to this page. It's copy and past only! Or else you can also add simple code to your template next to this <$BlogCommentDeleteIcon$> code by using A Consuming Experience's third method.

What we bloggers normally do when we are making a new post is to include links from old posts as many as possible, correct? But they should be related to each other, huh? Well you still can cleverly put a link from the previous post in the top of your blog. Check this hack at Blogger templates.

Don't let Firefox open PDF file

Opening PDF file can sometime make your browser crash. It is irritating you know, especially when you have been tabbed browsing in Firefox. That is a big file, so why not download it to temp folder and open it with external PDF Reader. And my opinion is PDF file are best viewed in PDF reader.

Instructions;

Go to the “Tools -> Options” menu
Select the “Downloads” tab
Open “View and Edit Actions…”
Enter “pdf” in the “Search” box
Select “Change Action…”
Change the selection from “Use this Plugin” to “Open them with the default application”, which should point to Adobe Acrobat Reader, or here is showing my favorite Foxit Reader

Blogger Comment and TrackBack Trick

I have redesigned my blog again. I used to use templates from Gecko & Fly. They are free for individual use and I like their design. Because I know nothing about html coding and web design, and especially because I find it always boring to learn from reading books and online tutorials, I used their templates and learn from it at the same time. I've noticed the two web sites this and this also are providing good and free stuffs. Though this time I took the one from blogger itself and modified it a bit.

Another major change is that I switched back the comment box from Haloscan to Blogger. Although Haloscan is giving me a good service and I enjoy having an excellent time with her, I cannot completely run away from my old love. Some strong points about Blogger comment are that enabling Google back link so that I know who is linking my post, with Haloscan somehow I'm not seeing that back link in my post footer. And Blogger comment is compatible with coComment that make easy for my fellow bloggers to keep track of their comments on my posts*. Moreover most of the posts about how to hack and the tips and tricks of comment are based on blogger comment. And I want to try some.

But I've still liked to keep Haloscan's TrackBack system. So I googled to find how to do it and came up with one decent post explaining the process. In fact I just want to be confirmed whether it is possible to do so. Then I browse back to Haloscan auto-install for blogger page again and went through the steps untill I find their code for Blogger template, that is at step 4. Instead of procedding the following steps, I copied them to replace with Blogger comment code as mention in above article. After saving the template and republishing it, I checked the result. It works!

* update: I've jsut noticed Haloscan is also compatible with coComment. What the hell! Technology today is changing in minutes!

Better Search in Firefox

Look my little blog is popping up on Google and del.icio.us. Click on them for the larger view.

When we type certain keywords in search engine like Google, we get thousands of links to look up. It's a pain following each link and click a go back button again and again to take a new search because you are not satisfied with that page. Why not search them on that very page, on Google, like most feed readers do, instead of opening links in a new window or tab. If your are using a Firefox browser, half of your problem is solved already. For the another half go and get an extension called BetterSearch. After installing it and restarting your browser, just click the quick preview icon next to the search result. Now your are able to see the desired site, in the same page you are searching. Don't forget that this icon and it's use are only for the search engine. It works on most of the popular search sites. You will find the list in the extension options under Tools menu.

There are some cool features as well, for example, the screenshot (thumbnails) of the link you're likely to see, site info and archive link. And they are flexible enough that you always have an option to enable and disable them at whatever time you feel like.

No installation process, no browser hack, so easy that it seems as simple as abc! Erica Joy's blog reveal how to do it. Pageflakes and Netvibes should do the same work as Google, though I haven't tested yet.

Now I'm really sick and tired of struggling life in an foreign country. I've already thought it must be tough before I came here. But one thing I cannot stand is solving others problem, not my own! I can handle for myself. No problem how difficult life would be. Everybody here has each problem. And some tend to find helps from friends. It's ok, if your is a tiny one. That's what a friendship is for, I know. But you should not ask for somebody everytime you need, especially if your trouble is really big. For that kind of friend, you can do nothing but refuse. Just say him no, short and simple. And be firm on your decision. No need to explain this and that, long and unnecessary. Such a person know exactly the way to persuade and how to act accordingly to get a help from you. If you go deep into detail, you will find yourself stuck in his words. Unfortunately today I have to answer or refuse using this way to one of my friend who keep on asking me for help. It sounds a bit cruel, but I cannot help. Because I cannot even help myself in this situation. F**k, I hate to do it.

This is the latest script i put to my template. I've been imaging to display delicious tagrolls to my blog ever since I've noticed that feature. But I found it's one and only draw back that it take too much space to put all the tags I have. I don't like that style so I drop it! Worth waiting though I came across this excellent site which allow me to choose various type of tag display. Here I selected a drop down menu bar for Zero Topic.

Update : It's not working when I test after posting this! Yet I'm not removing it right away, hoping they might fix it soon!
Now settled, no problem using it at all. Posts will be found just below the drop down menu bar after selecting from the list. Check the follow up answer in comment. Thanks Greg.

I've put this for fun! I like Pandora and it's fabulous songs. I came to know a good deal of fantastic new songs on Pandora. So I thought that it would not be a bad idea letting them in my blog. Some of you guys likely to find them useful. To add them, you have to register yourself here first, then create stations based on artist or song. You need to listen of course to acquire songs. After that bookmark them and generate html code to copy and past to template so that your songs will bee seen on your blog.

France won 1-0 over favourites Brazil. Henery's only goal is just enough to kick them out of the tournament. Zidane is genius, an exceptional player. His performance is still amazing despite of an old age. He gave a good lesson to Brazilian, showing them who is the king of football. Such a sweet victory that I cannot decribe in words. Actually that is the second times, I already experienced this kind of good feeling 8 years ago, World Cup final match in 1998, even more sweeter that night, France beat them in style, winning 3-nil over Brazil, the lads lifted up the trophy. Bye bye Brazil, you guys just wait at least another 4 years dreaming how to defeat France in World Cup. Now Brazil and Argentina were out, 2006 World Cup trophy will be held up by hands of European.

Check it out! I've found this site the cool hunter on digg. It's very interesting to see how good ideas and design are important to the success of ads. Warning, some ads are not suitable for under 18!

And what's a bit of controversy worth without a banning ? An Italian court has had the ad banned and it looks like the French are about to follow suit.

Share your favourite posts with Google Reader

Since then I've noticed a new feature of Google Reader which allow users to share starred items and labels, I've been thinking of how to make a meal of it for the benefit of Zero Topic. I've been finding ways to put links roll to my blog, some are related to me and some from myself. Now easy, sign in to Google Reader, subscribe to feeds, from which find whatever posts to be included, then label or star them and rearrange them in a certain order after that get a code, copy and paste it to template. Done! Now you can add your reading lists or whatever lists to your blog!

Tonight seems to me very romantic. How come? Looking the moon through the window, my mind was suddenly drew back to the past.

One of the night 7 years ago, we were performing a guitar show at the road-side near the student hostel, in front of us were some 3 or 4 girls resting their heads on arms upon the window. Not only us, there are about 2 more groups around. They were waiting us for their turn. That's a mutual aggreement between guys, one group for one song. For the girls part, if they found it entertaining, they were supposed to treat us some snaks, most popularly biscuit and Lahpet thou (a salad of pickled tea leaves). But it's not a must.

No need to say whatever their snacks are very delicious for us especially to go with hard liquor. Such kind of night would not be perfect without a drink. The higher we were, the better our singing! In fact one of my friend was trying to succeed the heart of one girl in that hostel. So all the drink expenses are his responsibility. He also need a help from a good go-between. Here our hero is an elderly man, in charge of the hostel's security! With a little bribe the fellow's love letter could reach out to his darling in minutes.

Ah, I cannot say how much I remember, you know! They are a good old days of me which will never return back.

No wonder Google's product are really something. However the question is whether Google is the one and only dominant on the Internet. Definitely not! Why did Google make some companies like Blogger and Picasa it's own? Simply it would cost Google more money and time competing with them. If he can buy them, why bother to compete! Smart, huh? Still we are looking forward to Writely, Google's next soon-to-be.

Not like them, there are some others out there, fighting for a place with Google's existing services. They are equally awesome as Google, some are even getting the upper hand in the battle. The list below are a good example of them. Make a choice between them! Geez, that's difficult. But I'll probably say no to Google this time. "Variety is the spice of life". So try some and have fun.

Inside and out of my blog

Zero Topic is a personal blog. When I say it personal it means that my blog doesn't focus on any particular field but it rather based on whatever thoughts that occupied me at the very moment of blogging time. However most of the topics covered here are latest news on technology, blogging, Google, Firefox browser, shiny new gadgets and freeware.

Well I am not a professional blogger, only a student who fancy surfing the Internet and writing this and that reviews on whatever I find interesting. However it doesn't necessarily mean to follow all my good words about software, links and free downloading stuffs because honestly speaking, I am not so sure about what the actual outcome would be. They will probably be harmful to you and your machine, though I always double check with every sources that I can reach of before publishing. I just let you know those things in case something bad happen, it have nothing to do with me but your own risk.

One more thing that although I name Zero Topic as a personal blog, I will not be talking too much about myself. I find as much uneasy to see my own face on the net as describing daily unimportant details of me. I am doing my best to make Zero Topic the best for you. If somebody manage to get the benefit out of it. I'll be more than happy.

Since I could not think of what to do, I tried to blog. Nothing came out of my brain. No problem I changed some of my topic names which I thought then was cool now turn to be ridiculous. Then I deleted two posts thinking no one seem to have an interest in them. Now I feel satisfied, because of them I have something to write down. That's not a good practice but I cannot help doing so. I wonder how good it would be if I can edit and delet some of my past as well. In life you must be sure of what you choose for life and stand firmily on what you believe in till to the death. Otherwise you will get to nowhere.

They are just ramdom thoughts which reflect partly of me, I guess.

Site Meter or Stat Counter whatever you may have, they are fantastic at keeping track of visitors, but one function they don't offer you presently which MyBlogLog.com do is, tracking how many clicks your visitors hit the links you've provided on your blog. I've just finished copying and pasting their code to template and seeing result now. It works well so far, exactly doing it's job just I expected. The are offering 3-day compulsory free trial pro to feel it's full advantage. They said you will be switched to free version after three days. So I have no comment on how cool their free version is for the moment. But it's a worthwhile code to have a go.

Why I blog?

First of all, blogger is available for free on the net.
Then curiosity as to what the blogging is all about, after that I want to learn more.
It's good to have a job to do instead of wasting time doing nothing.
Surfing is no fun if you can't tell people what you've found.
To gain confidence in what I do.
My brain need to think seriously!
Because I have a great fun of Zero Topic blog lol, guess who, it's me, myself.
The comments, feedback from readers is the main advantage of blog, I'd like to say.

World Cup madness

These days most of the small talk are occupied by World Cup. Last night I had a conversation with a cab driver. Some of them are a good story teller based on my experience. So everytimes I get a chance, I try to make them speak. I did the same thing last night. He retold me of one of his customer, who asked for his boss to give him a month break to enjoy World Cup. But the boss refused him. What do you think of his action? That £ucking guy resigned his job without hesitation, and then flew to Germany the next day to join the crowd there. I'm amazed, he did it at the expense of his job! How I wish, I would be him, huh?

Though it's interesting Google can actually knock out giant Microsoft and its office software in the end. For me as soon as finding the news, I immediately signed up one to secure a place. Google announces it's a limited test and first comes first served!

Yesterday I got an invitation to use it. Ok For the questions like, why Google? What is the benefit ot its spreadsheet? Click here. The problem is I have a little knowledge to build my own. So I went on line and searched something handy to use. I found a cool spreadsheet on Of Zen and Computing site. It's a free download .xls (Excel) file and so simple that every body can use it. After downloading a file, I upload again to Google Spreadsheets to test how it works. As it is the result above snapshot!

A bit late waking up from bed, I checked Site Meter as used to be, to my surprise I saw quite a lot visitors in a short while, 7 of them are coming from NLS blog which referring URL showed and some of them stayed reading quite long. If you are a football crazy like me, a great match, World Cup is ahead of us to enjoy day to day event, taking place in Germany. And if you also are like me always hooked up on pc screen no matter what is happening outside World. You may find it difficult whether to sit in front of a pc or go out to watch one of your favourite match. I assume some of you are not in favour of commercializing in the blog. I also agree with you some point. Seeing too many commercial make me sick. Sometimes it even make me turn away immedialely from such kind of page, especially graphic commercial stuff that make loading time considerably slow. But I do put one or two google text ads on my blog. I just take it for fun not seriously commercial. I like AdSense at some point. It put just relevant ads which I think is appealing and another way of catching readers eyes, at the same time you earn some $, of course. Isn't it fun? It is far more better than annoying pop-ups ads. AdSense also are suffering excessive use of ads block software like firefox extension adblock. I doubt AdSense can last for the long run. Please don't think I am making mainly money out of my blog. My blog is just my hobby, at least for the moment.

World Cup 2006

9 days before to World Cup, this morning a friend of mine's sms message tone wake me up, asking who win last night friendly match. Oh! yes last night England faced Hungary to test their strength and weakness for good performance in next stage. I checked the result on the net. As I expected, England slaughter Hungary with 3-0 win, Gerrald, Terry and Crouch scored.

I used to watch World Cup eagerly when it was held in 1994, 1996 and 2000. No doubt 2006 will be great match though I will be away from screen most of the matches. Due to staying under tight pressure in other country, I don't have a heart to enjoy life anymore. Life for the moment is really sucks.

You may wonder as to how come some program like yahoo messenger starting up automatically as I used to confuse before, everytime you switch on a pc. They are called start up program and you can check them by right clicking task bar/ task manager/under process tab. There are a numbers of programs, technically calling .exe files, are functioning in your pc's background which and what exactly of their job is beyond your knowledge, some are obvious like a firefox.exe, your browser's executable file and some are a bit confusing like operating system files, without it your computer will not function properly. What is important is that there also harmful programs called virus and spyware are out there trying to attack you, unfortunately some of them may be there already without your invitation. During this month, I have some extra time to enjoy life. What I do these days? I wish I fed my eyes seeing hot chicks along the Orchard road, hehe. But not like that, I am not going around town for sight-seeing. Well, the fact is I don't even have a slightly idea of what the Sentosa would be, which is the most famous tourist destination of Singapore! Perhaps I might be something wrong.

So these days I stay at home, spending time surfing the Internet, hanging around others blogs finding inspiration to write my own blog. Needless to say most of the blogs I read are from Myanmar bloggers. Some of them are really impressed me. Though I doubt whether I am the only viewer of Zero Topic. A Ha!

...., a sad news is that my teacher, Mr......pass away yesterday because of lung cancer. He is at the age of 54 when he died. Par is now 58 and mum is worried about him because his friend, Mr........, Mr......... and Mr............all have gone.

That's an extract from my younger brother e-mail to me two weeks ago. The news do alert me. I always take my parents for granted, everytimes I need help. I feel sorry because I happen to be a burden for them. Regarding my age, it is my turn to support them, not taking from them. But I cannot. I cannot stand on my own feet yet. I know I was a bad son and still am I. Please forgive me for that mum, dad. I really appreciate all you have done for me.

Shit, I've been wasting the whole day surfing others blogs. Now I'm becoming addicted to the Internet. I can't help it. Sometimes it's not good having a connection all the time. When I was in Myanmar I went the Internet Cafe just to check e-mail. Because I was charged by the minute I use. No money to surf web, at that time. What a hopeless life wherever you are, you are always broke, damnit!

The exam is £ucking near. The reason staying home during these days is to start a study. The first week it was going well. It is until when I had got an accident that cut my right palm, I can no longer concentrate on reading. It have got 7 stitches.

From tomorrow on, I plan to practise as I did in Myanmar, staying away from online except to check e-mail! Otherwise I have to sit like a dumb in an exam.

I never have an ambition.

I always have been a kind of easy-going guy. As far as ambition are concerned, I should have known what exactly is I wanted to be since 12 years ago.

When I was young I used to think I will be a sucessful man one day. I feel sad knowing I am not as sure as I was.

My mother used to scolded me,"My lazy boy, wake up, it's very time that you escaped out of your dream world". She said I was living in my dream. Ah.. you are right mum. But it's too much enough for me! I want to escape. So I am trying now, trying my best to please you, at the same time to make myself sucess, sucess that I have dreamt before.

My annoying habit

Sitting in front of the PC all night long after formatting, reinstalling all the nessary programs, testing them and surfing the net, I long for a puff of cigratte so much. No, I have shortage of money and I do need to care about my spending, at least a month. It doesn't help me trying two desperate attempts of having instant coffee hoping to reduce such a hunger.

People say money is a strong motivation to force someone to do something unpleasant. And I am staying in Singapore, hopefully just for the moment lol, the country where cigratte are sold the highest price than anyothers around the world. Alcohol and cigratte are heavily taxed in this country, especially on cigratte, in order to encourage the youths being stay away from them. Ironically I observe that their young Singaporian per smokers are far a lot than young men from my country, Myanmar, where cigratte are sold ridiculously cheap price! And they smoke twice as much more sticks as our youths. Here I have to pay S$ 10 for a pack of London cigratte, my favourite. By this price I can buy about 9 packs in my country. I have to admit I smoke a bit less than in Myanmar because of tight budget. Still then I cannot completly do away with it, though I should if I were enough stingy.
