Seems like South East Asia sleeping giant is coming back again, though it's still early to judge. Last night in Merdeka cup final, Myanmar defeat 2-1 over Indonesia. Under the coach U San Win, Myanmar is placed as the lowest team in the four nation tournament. But FIFA rankings has nothing to do with the actual outcome. Kyaw Thu Ya took the lead on 61st minutes. Then the header from the capatain Soe Myat Min on 85th minutes was enough to add the 2006 Merdeka Cup to their name as a four times champion. The last time they won the title was in 1971 as Burma.
